GEB — Gesture Beats is a product of TNAADO Inc., a technology company headquartered at 1 Dundas St West, Suite 2500, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M5G 1Z3. References to “GEB,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this policy refer to TNAADO Inc. operating the GEB application and website (gesturebeats.app).
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Email address (waitlist signup or account creation)
- Display name or username (optional, app account)
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe Inc. We never store card numbers, CVVs, or full payment credentials on our servers)
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Usage analytics (screens visited, feature engagement), collected in anonymized form
- IP address (for geographic region, fraud prevention)
- Crash logs and error reports (to improve stability)
2.3 Camera Access for Gesture Tracking
GEB uses your device camera to detect hand gestures and body poses for real-time music generation. All camera-based gesture processing happens entirely on your device using on-device AI models (MediaPipe). No video frames, images, or pose data are transmitted to our servers. Raw camera data never leaves your device.
2.4 Microphone Access for Voice Commands
GEB uses your device microphone for two purposes: (1) voice commands to control playback, switch modes, and adjust settings hands-free, and (2) amplitude detection in Fight mode to trigger beats on impact sounds. Voice command processing occurs on-device. No audio recordings are stored or transmitted to external servers. Microphone access can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
2.5 Apple Music Integration
If you choose to connect Apple Music, GEB accesses your Apple Music library and playback state through the Apple MusicKit framework. This allows GEB to blend your personal music library with AI-generated gesture-reactive layers. GEB does not copy, store, or transmit your Apple Music library data to our servers. Access is governed by Apple's MusicKit terms and your Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You can disconnect Apple Music at any time from the app settings.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the GEB application
- Send waitlist updates and product launch communications (only if you opted in)
- Process subscription payments and in-app purchases via Stripe
- Facilitate Apple Music integration when authorized by you
- Process camera input for gesture tracking (on-device only)
- Process microphone input for voice commands and amplitude detection (on-device only)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or policy violations
- Analyze aggregate, anonymized usage patterns to improve features
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Stripe Inc. — payment processing for subscriptions and in-app purchases. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never store full card numbers. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
- Apple (via MusicKit) — if you authorize Apple Music, playback state is exchanged via Apple's APIs. GEB does not transmit your library data to our servers
- Supabase Inc. — database infrastructure (SOC 2 Type II certified)
- Vercel Inc. — web hosting for gesturebeats.app
- Legal authorities — when required by applicable law or court order
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely. You can request full deletion at any time.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

7. Cookies & Tracking
The GEB marketing website (gesturebeats.app) uses minimal cookies — only what is necessary for site functionality and analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
8. Children's Privacy
GEB is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at contact@tnaado.ca.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and strict access controls. However, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email (if you have an account) or a notice on our website. Continued use of GEB after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
